HANFORD, CA — Rooted, a new coffee shop specializing in house-made ingredients and healthy choices, is now open at 148 N. 11th Ave. This location marks the brand's first expansion into Hanford.

Owner Savannah Burghgraef started the business in her own kitchen. According to the Hanford Sentinel, the business grew from a home-based operation to a spot at Bravo Farms before Burghgraef opened her first permanent storefront in Tulare.

The cafe uses original recipes and house-made syrups to create a unique taste that stands out from shops using store-bought ingredients. These syrups are crafted specifically for Rooted’s seasonal and signature coffee drinks.

Beyond traditional coffee, the shop offers health-focused "superfood" drinks designed to improve digestion and boost energy. To meet different dietary needs, the menu also includes high-protein and dairy-free options.

Popular menu items at the new location include the caramel cup latte, the cookies and cream milkshake, and a chocolate peanut butter acai bowl.

With operations now running in both Tulare and Hanford, Burghgraef plans to continue growing the brand by opening more locations across the Central Valley.
