Seven Displaced After Early Morning Visalia House Fire

VISALIA, CA — Seven residents were forced to leave their home early Friday morning after a fire broke out on Whitendale Avenue.

Firefighting crews responded to the house near Linwood Street shortly after 3 a.m. When they arrived, firefighters found that the fire had started outside the home before spreading inside.

Fire officials said crews put out the blaze within 30 minutes of arriving.

Officials said one person was treated for a minor injury, but they did not share more information about the victim's status.

Local authorities are still investigating what caused the fire.
