VISALIA, CA — A 20-year-old woman died Sunday at Kaweah Delta Medical Center after being shot in the Cutler area, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Visalia hospital shortly after noon on Jan. 18, when the woman arrived for treatment. Investigators say an unidentified man brought the woman to the medical center, where she later died from her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing as officials work to find out exactly what happened. Sheriff’s officials have not yet released the names of anyone involved, including the man who brought the woman to the hospital. No details have been shared about what led to the shooting.
