TULARE, CA — Tulare police are investigating after a man’s body was found Monday morning in a water basin at Live Oak Park.
Police received a report at about 9:12 a.m. Monday regarding a person in the water. Officers arrived at the scene and found the man face down and partially submerged in the park's basin.
Police describe the man as Hispanic and about 50 years old. Investigators have not yet identified him.
Detectives and crime scene investigators are searching the area for clues to help explain what happened. The department is still determining the cause of death.
